The Climate Crisis hitting coffee farmers

The Haven Eco Church movement is committed to fair trade and this weekend, at St Peters at 10.30, not only will you be able to refill your bottle with all your household needs but you will be able to flick through a fair trade catalogue as you drink your fair trade coffee, and eat your fair trade biscuits.

Segundo Geurrero and his family explain how only Fairtrade has allowed their cooperative to survive in the face of the lowest coffee prices for 15 years and an escalating climate crisis.

After you watch, please share and help Segundo speak up about what the reality of cheap coffee and the climate crisis means for those at the sharp end.
